Hit Walk-Off Home Run to Win 1960 World Series

On October 13, 1960, at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh, Bill Mazeroski hit a walk-off home run off New York Yankees pitcher Ralph Terry in the bottom of the ninth inning to win Game 7 of the World Series 10-9. It was the first time in baseball history that a World Series had been decided by a walk-off homer in Game 7.
