Refund Policy

At MemoriTree, our goal is to ensure peace of mind when you use our memorial services. Because our core offerings are digital and often personalized, refunds are handled according to the specific policies below. This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service.
1. Refund Request Timeframe
All refund requests must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date. Requests submitted after this period will be reviewed at our discretion but are not guaranteed.
2. Digital Memorial Services
Once a memorial page has been created and published, the digital service is considered delivered. Refunds for memorial creation fees (when applicable) may be issued only in cases of verified technical errors, such as duplicate charges or accidental double-payments.
3. Tree Plantings
Tree planting orders are fulfilled by third-party environmental organizations. Once a tree planting order has been submitted for fulfillment, it is considered an executed service and is non-refundable.
In the rare event that a tree planting order cannot be fulfilled after reasonable attempts by MemoriTree and its fulfillment partners, we will either arrange an alternative fulfillment (such as planting through a different partner organization) or issue a full refund at our discretion. We will notify you if your order cannot be fulfilled.
4. Flower Orders
Flower orders are fulfilled by third-party florists. Once an order has been processed and submitted to the florist, it is considered a perishable good and is non-refundable.
If you experience a delivery issue (e.g., non-delivery, significantly damaged arrangement, or wrong order), please contact us within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery date at support@memoritree.com. MemoriTree will work with the florist to facilitate a resolution, which may include a replacement delivery or a refund at the florist's discretion. MemoriTree is not the direct seller of floral products and cannot independently guarantee refunds for floral orders.
5. Subscriptions
If applicable, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must cancel your subscription before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods or for charges incurred after the renewal date. If you believe you were charged in error (e.g., after a timely cancellation request), please contact us and we will investigate and issue a refund if warranted.
6. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please email support@memoritree.com with your order number (or the email address associated with your account) and the reason for the request. We aim to respond to all refund inquiries within five (5) business days.
7. Refund Processing
If your refund request is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment. Depending on your payment provider and card issuer, the credit may take five to ten (5–10) business days to appear on your statement.
8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received an approved refund within the expected timeframe: (1) check your bank account or payment method again; (2) contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times vary; (3) if you've completed these steps and still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@memoritree.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least thirty (30) days' advance notice via email to your registered account address or through a prominent notice on the Service. Changes will take effect on the date specified in the notice. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Purchases made before a change takes effect are subject to the Refund Policy in effect at the time of purchase.
