Todd Daniel Doran
Todd entered eternal rest on December 17, 2025, passing peacefully at home after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
Todd was gifted beyond measure as a self-taught musician whose natural talent extended across many instruments. Music was not merely a hobby; it was the language of his soul. He wrote original songs, played in bands, and found deep joy in listening to music of every genre, always drawn to the story and emotion behind each melody. Through music, he expressed what words often could not. He carried a servant’s heart throughout his life. Todd gave freely of his time and energy, volunteering at the animal shelter, serving in soup kitchens, supporting the Salvation Army, playing in the church band, and participating in countless quiet acts of kindness that often went unseen. Helping others was never about
recognition; it was simply who he was. Faith was the foundation upon which he built his life. Having grown up in the church, his relationship with God became an integral part of his identity. His desire to serve led him to receive a certification as a minister from Howard Payne University, and he devoted himself to counseling and encouraging others both within the church and beyond. Todd had a rare gift for listening, truly listening — offering wisdom, compassion, and understanding
without judgment. His love for animals was unwavering. Over the years, he cared for many cherished pets, treating each one as family. Even in his final hours, he found comfort in and continued to care for his loyal companion, Puppus, a reflection of the gentle and nurturing spirit he carried until the very end. Todd was a man of few words, yet when he spoke, his thoughts were profound and deeply reflective. Wonderfully eccentric and unapologetically himself, he was funny, unpredictable, and delightfully random. Introverted yet incredibly hardworking, steadfast, and loyal, he lived life in his own unique rhythm. Those who knew him understood that beneath his quiet nature was a depth of thought, creativity, and love that ran immeasurably deep.
Todd is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Kecia; his children, Troy Nessner (Jessi), Paige White (Brandon), and Tera Peeler (Daniel); and his treasured grandchildren, Madyson Doran, Zayne Peeler, Nyah Flores, Mia White, Asher Peeler, Willow Flores, and Arrow Flores. He is also survived by his parents, Frank and Elaine Doran; his siblings, Tera Edge (Randy) and Tim Doran (Kristian); as well as his cherished nieces and nephews, Ryan, Tawny, Nathan, and Roenn. Todd was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents and many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, and faithful animals who journeyed with him through the years.
The loved ones of Todd Doran welcome any tribute you wish to share in their memory.
