In 2011, Very joined Manchester Orchestra as their new drummer, replacing Jeremiah Edmond. His first live performance with the band was in Camden, London, on the UK leg of their tour in support of the album "Simple Math." Very would become the band's longest-serving drummer, spending 15 years with the group.
