Thomas (Tom) Gregory Moore
Life and Legacy
Thomas Gregory Moore
December 22, 1948 – January 8, 2026
Thomas Gregory Moore passed peacefully into eternal rest on January 8, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy defined by unwavering faith, deep devotion to family, and a lifetime of service to others.
As a foster child, Tom was adopted by Irma and Jim, who became his parents and gave him a foundation of resilience and independence. He often said he was educated at the “School of Hard Knocks,” a reflection of the strength, determination, and life wisdom that shaped the man he became.
Tom was previously married to Dianna, and together they had three children: Tom, Priscilla, and Greg.
He later shared more than forty-three years of marriage with his beloved wife, Roberta. Together, they built a life rooted in commitment, mutual respect, and enduring love. He lovingly welcomed Nikki into his family through adoption and was also a caring stepfather to Lil Greg and Lisa.
Family was at the heart of Tom’s life. He was a proud grandfather to Paul, Michael, Brittany, Misty, Aubrey, Rory, and Landon, and a deeply devoted great-grandfather to Nataly, Matthew, Max, Ezekiel, Sebastian, Lilly, Hannah, Selah, and Nathan, each of whom brought him immense joy.
For more than five decades, Tom worked as a skilled mason specializing in pool construction, a trade he approached with dedication and pride. He learned his profession from his father-in-law, Vincent, whose guidance helped shape Tom’s character, work ethic and lifelong career.
A faithful believer in Jesus Christ, Tom lived with compassion, humility, and generosity. He was a friend to many and was widely known for his kindness and his willingness to help those in need.
Though he will be deeply missed, his family and loved ones take comfort in the promise of eternal life and the assurance that his faith has led him home.
His memory and example will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
