Stan's First Elected to Arkansas House of Representatives
Stan Berry officially began his legislative career on January 5, 2003, representing the citizens of District 71 in the 84th Arkansas General Assembly. Having won the 2002 election as a Republican, he brought his experience from the Dover City Council to the state capitol in Little Rock to advocate for rural interests. During this inaugural term, Berry focused on agricultural issues and rural development, serving on the House Agriculture and Economic Development Committee. His transition to state-level politics marked a significant expansion of his public service, moving from local governance to shaping policy for the entire state of Arkansas.
