Russ Weaver
In Loving Memory of Russ, Age 59Services will be held on June 2nd at 2:30 PM in Joplin, Missouri, where family and friends will gather to honor the life of a beloved brother, uncle, and faithful servant of God. At 59 years old, Russ returned home to the Lord, finding peace in His eternal embrace.Russ lived a life shaped by hard work, quiet strength, and a deep appreciation for God’s creation. For 31 years, he drove trucks across the country, mile after mile, providing for his family with dedication and pride. When he wasn’t on the road, he found joy in the outdoors—hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature—where he felt closest to the Lord.He is survived by his sister, Shari, who loved him dearly, along with his two nephews and one niece who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. His steady presence, his stories from the road, and his love for the simple beauty of the outdoors will remain cherished blessings.Though Russ’s earthly journey has ended, Scripture reminds us that “the Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want… and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” His family takes comfort knowing he now rests in perfect peace, free from pain, surrounded by God’s everlasting light.Russ leaves behind a legacy of resilience, loyalty, and love—the kind that reflects the quiet faith he carried throughout his life. May his soul find eternal rest, and may his family feel the Lord’s comfort as they walk through this season of grief.“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4
