Hey Folks, Reading others thoughts of Ms Rose Marie or my girlfriend as all the team here at the theatre refer to her as, just confirms that she was the same women to all and for all of her life. Consistent, caring, loving, giving, leading, mentoring and of course the love of her life teaching. Yes she wanted it her way, which simply meant she wanted it right and organized and would set me and others straight if she thought we needed it, but always in love and because she wanted more for others than she wanted for herself. I heard the other day we forget voices but I will never forget the way I always knew first letter it was her, that distinct voice the way she made Gary sound like a three syllable word, that little rasp that was as recognizable as her perfect hair and dress as Katie has mentioned, always dressed to the nines even to just call me and tell me to come to the car to pick something up. Kristen said it best perfect blend of spunk and charm! She never quit never gave up whether planning some of the best events and fundraisers we have ever held or showing up for shows in a wheelchair when she broke both ankles and she would do whatever to make it down stairs for a better table, they were the best she said. The very first email she sent me about the The Beaches Long Time Newcomers and the Beaches Women's club both that she loved and served with all she was, she called me Greg, silly little thing but special to me. The other thing that I will never forget, she was always doing for others and me included even though I just wanted to do for her, she found out I was struggling for a new place to live in a hurry and she said why don't you just move in my spare room until you can find something, I didn't need to but I will never forget the way she loved me as another son to her, speaking of she loved you Bill and was proud of you! I only had the privilege of knowing her for 10 years but I will cherish those memories and continue to serve others through lessons learned from my best girl! She will be missed but celebrated and live on in the lives of others she impacted. Love ya my best Girl!
