Mr. Richard Hunter of Tampa, FL passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday March 21, 2026, 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue Tampa, FL 33606 with Pastor Donald Lott, Officiating. Interment will be held in Florida National Cemetery at a later timeframe. MASK RECOMMENDED.

Mr. Richard Hunter was a native of Thomasville, Georgia. He was educated in the Public School System in Georgia. He became a believer of Christ at a young age. He enjoyed a lucrative career as a Truck Driver, after many years of service he retired from this profession.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his Wife since 1972, Julia Beckham Hunter; daughters, Anitra Hocker, and Rhonda Matthews; Sister, Sherly Overstreet of GA.; Brothers, Charles Rey Hunter of GA., Paul Hunter of FL., and Joseph Hunter of FL.; 9 Step Grandchildren, Junique, Jenia, Julisa, Davis, Antwan, Heaven, Na’Aja, India, and Bryson; 13 Great Grands; Betty Wingart, Micheal, Bull, Joe, Anthony, and Tellum Hunter; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.
