Neale Weston Osenburg
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved brother, Neale Weston Osenburg, of Towson, Maryland, who passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
Born on September 8, 1972, in Towson, Maryland, to Gil and Pam Osenburg (Chelf), Neale was known for his quick wit, generous spirit, and the way he brought laughter and energy wherever he went. He grew up in Baltimore and attended Boys’ Latin School, Randolph-Macon College, and Towson University.
Neale spent many years working as a bartender at Checkerspot Brewery, where his warm personality and easy conversation made him a favorite among friends and patrons alike. A true social butterfly, Neale loved being around people and had a special gift for turning everyday moments into memorable ones. Sharing the track with his father, Gil, in Formula 500 cars was a highlight for him, as was being part of the racing community. He was a devoted fan of the Ravens and Orioles and was known among friends as a supreme axe thrower.
Neale spent many happy hours on the softball field with his longtime BSSC team, Neale’s Diamonds, where he made lifelong friends who shared a bond deeper than friendship. He treasured time spent with family and friends and especially loved sharing his passion for lacrosse while cheering on his nephews.
Neale had a deep love for animals. He was passionate about animal rescue and supporting BARCS. He also enjoyed walking dogs as a side job and had a soft spot for any animal in need.
He is survived by his loving siblings, Kristin Kosmides (Christopher) and Kyle Osenburg (Christine); nephews, Max, Colin and Zach, Trish Tull, a beloved second mother to him, and her daughter, Maura, who he cherished like a sister; extended family members; and many loyal friends who will miss him deeply. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gil and Pam Osenburg.
A celebration of Neale’s life will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 2:00–6:00 PM at Tall Cedars Banquet Hall in Parkville, Maryland.
Neale will be remembered forever as a beloved brother, proud uncle, and loyal friend whose laughter echoed through Patterson Park, Canton bars, and family gatherings and whose spirit will forever be part of the Baltimore he loved.
