Oh Babu, I’m constantly thinking to myself, what is the point of life if the end of it is tears and pain? I’m still figuring out that question but I think part of the answer is… the way we live it, the memories we make and how we choose to love. That is life- for me. Babu’s aura was always peaceful, I honestly never found him annoyed or irritated and would always wonder what kind of patience he possessed because one thing about people? They WILL annoy you! I sadly did not inherit that side of him as much as I would have loved to. Two instances that stand out; the day he randomly bought me a Bible because I protested he hadn’t bought me anything and he told me to pick out the Bible I liked. The second was when I graduated and went to see him in hospital the day after because he’d been admitted. He saw me and asked where my gown was and why I didn’t want him to see me in it. I had to go back home to get the gown so that he could see me wearing it. How beautiful? His rest has caused so much pain but I take heart in the thought of a promised eternal life.
