It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mike Mateo Miller, who departed this life on March 11, 2026, at the age of 60, in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Born on May 27, 1965, in Naranjito, Puerto Rico, Mike arrived in the United States at the tender age of five. It was in Kannapolis that he built a life, lovingly centered on family, unwavering hard work, and boundless love.
Mike dedicated 26 years of his life to Metrolina Greenhouses, a testament to his steadfast commitment, before transitioning to a new path as a truck driver for six more years. He was cherished as a hardworking and dependable man, whose greatest pride came from providing for his beloved family.
Mike possessed a remarkable spirit, a personality that could truly light up any room he entered. He held a special gift for conversation, effortlessly connecting with anyone about anything, making friends and leaving a warm impression wherever he went. He was genuinely lovable, kind-hearted, and deeply valued by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He also found joy in the tangible creation of things, enjoying building with his hands.
He was reunited in eternal peace with his dear parents, Harriette Carrington and Adolfo Miller.
Mike's loving memory will forever be cherished by his devoted wife, Keisha Miller; his beloved siblings, Kim Manley, Sally Miller, and Cynthia Miller. His legacy of love continues through his children, Mike Miller Jr., Micah Miller, Mikayla Miller, Maria Miller, Michaela Miller, Shaquille Martin, and Kenji Martin, as well as his seven precious grandchildren.
