A life worth honoring
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Knoblauch, who lived from March 5, 1946 to November 27, 2025 in Wichita, Kansas and Derby, Kansas. Mary spent her life devoted to her family, her work, and those she cared for.
Mary worked in a variety of roles throughout her life, including positions with AMPI/Hiland Dairy, KDHE, First Student, and Beech. She was known for her strong work ethic, independence, and resilience.
Mary was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who cared deeply for her family and took pride in staying connected to those she wanted to communicate with. She valued resilience, perseverance, and doing things her own way. Those who knew her remember her as extremely straightforward, determined, and deeply human.
She is survived by her family, including her children, Angela and Larry. Grandson Cameron, Ryan, and Kayla. As well as great grandchildren Athena and Alora; along with other loved ones who will carry her memory forward.
Mary will be cremated. At this time, no formal services have been planned. Their memory will live on in the hearts of family and friends.
