Lou was a 1964 graduate of IHS and then married his HS sweet heart, Carol (Nash).They were married for 59 years. He served his country as a Vietnam veteran in the US Army and then spending over twenty-five years as a mail carrier, serving as a steady and familiar presence in the community. Lou’s warmth and care extended to his time as a school bus driver for Lansing schools and his many years spent as a player and coach in the Ithaca men’s softball league. An avid fan of Ithaca College Football, he found great joy in the spirit of the game. Above all, Lou was a loving father to Michelle (Steve), Maureen, and Anthon and his niece Nichole. He was the proudest grandfather to Kayla, Erika (Derran), and Amanda (Jason), and was a great-grandfather to Logan. His legacy of service, connection, and enduring love will be forever cherished. Lou was predeceased by his parents Maria and Luigi, his brothers Joseph and Richard.
