Larry's Earned Degree in Political Science from Frostburg State University
Education
Larry Douglas Kump graduated from Frostburg State University in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science in political science, an achievement that laid the intellectual foundation for his decades of public service. Having previously earned an associate degree from Hagerstown Community College, his time at Frostburg allowed him to specialize in the study of government structures and legislative processes. This rigorous academic preparation was immediately put to use when he began working for the Pennsylvania State Senate leadership shortly after graduation. His education in Maryland not only shaped his conservative political philosophy but also instilled a lifelong commitment to constituent service and effective public administration.
