He also gave back in tangible ways, including organizing laptop giveaways through the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization in Irving, Texas, ensuring young people had access to the tools they needed to learn, grow, and succeed.
Driven by a deep commitment to equity and truth, Kelvin founded a nonprofit organization in Florida called Black.wiki, created to preserve, highlight, and celebrate Black excellence — both historically and in the present day. Through this work, he sought to ensure that important stories, achievements, and contributions would be accessible, accurate, and empowering for future generations.
Faith, Creativity, and Passion
Kelvin was a devoted Christian whose faith in Jesus Christ guided his life, his generosity, and the way he treated others. His beliefs were reflected not only in words, but in consistent acts of kindness, service, and humility.
Beyond his professional and community work, Kelvin was deeply creative. He was a music enthusiast who wrote and performed music over the years, using music as a form of expression and connection. He loved gaming — especially Final Fantasy VII — and was a lifelong fan of anime. He also embraced emerging technology, including virtual reality, always curious about innovation and new experiences.
One of Kelvin’s most personal creative endeavors was RapstarBytes, an animated series he began developing to tell his life story alongside the stories of his friends. Through this project, he blended technology, music, and storytelling to explore resilience, friendship, struggle, and growth — mirroring the way he viewed life itself.

Those who knew Kelvin remember him as loving, caring, and deeply intentional. He consistently tried to help as many people as he could, often quietly and without seeking recognition.
