Joseph Francis Supple
Joseph Francis Supple, born on November 27, 1957, passed away on January 20, 2026, leaving behind a life rich in music, sports, and devotion to family.
Joseph was a man of many interests and talents. In his high school years, he distinguished himself as both a wrestler and a drummer in the school band, pursuits that reflected his discipline, strength, and love of rhythm and teamwork. His passion for music continued throughout his life as a proud member of the Milford Ancient Fife and Drum Corps, where he found camaraderie, tradition, and joy in preserving history through music.
An avid lover of sports and games, Joseph delighted in competition, strategy, and shared moments of fun. He especially loved playing cards, with a particular fondness for games of Pinnacle, where his sharp mind and playful competitiveness shone through. Above all else, he was a devoted father who deeply loved his children and supported them wholeheartedly in their chosen pursuits—whether cheering at the rink for hockey games or standing proudly on the sidelines at horseback riding events. His encouragement and presence were constants in their lives.
Joseph is survived by his former wife, Teresa Haviland; his children, Christopher Supple, Jessica Figueroa, and Shawn Supple; his daughter-in-law, Christine Supple; his beloved grandchildren, Jayden Supple, Christopher Supple Jr., Alexandria Figueroa, and Dean Figueroa; and his brothers, Raymond Supple and Edward Supple.
A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held on Saturday, January 31st, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at 698 East Broadway, Milford, CT 06460, United States. Friends and family are warmly invited to gather and celebrate the life, memories, and legacy of Joseph Francis Supple.
