Joe Roeting (1951-2026)
Joe Roeting, age 74, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Friday, January 30th, at Manor Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Joe was a proud military veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War. After his service, he built a life centered on family, hard work, and the outdoors. He was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved hunting and fishing, passions that brought him both peace and joy throughout his life.
Joe deeply loved his family and cherished time spent with them. He is survived by his children, Chad Roeting and Cindy Roeting, and his beloved grandchildren, Autumn and Logan, who meant the world to him. He also had a special place in his heart for his puppy, who was a constant source of companionship and comfort.
Joe was one of seventeen siblings born to Francis and Alice Brosey Roeting, growing up in a large family that shaped his values of loyalty and resilience.
He will be remembered for his service to his country, his love of the outdoors, and his devotion to his family. Joe’s legacy lives on in the lives of those who loved him and will miss him dearly.
