I have memories from the day Jimmy was born. I was his older sister and adored this little guy💕 We were typical brother and sister, fighting and making up and don’t say anything bad about him. He was a free spirit and never cared about material things, but he loved his family with his whole heart. I know he is at peace now and surrounded by his loved ones that have passed before him. He was the best brother and I will miss him till we meet again.

James "Jimmy" Thomas Dossett
February 21, 1953 – June 13, 2026
James "Jimmy" Thomas Dossett, age 73, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026. Born with a natural talent for solving problems, a goofy sense of humor, and the biggest heart, Jimmy lived a life dedicated to his trade, his friends, and, above all, his family.
A proud graduate of the Valley High School, of Valley Station, KY, Class of 1971, Jimmy went on to build a remarkable 48-year career as a master electrician. His sharp mind and work ethic were well-known throughout the community, both during his time and as the proud owner of his own businesses, Kwik Service Electric and Action Electric. If something was broken, Jimmy could fix it, and he brought that same reliable, hard-working spirit to everything he did.
Beyond his professional success, Jimmy was a man who truly loved life’s simple pleasures. He was happiest when surrounded by friends and family, making people laugh and sharing good company. He also enjoyed playing the piano and listening to great music. Of all the titles he held, none brought him greater joy than being a grandfather; he absolutely adored his granddaughters and cherished every moment spent with them.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Justin and Noelle Dossett; his three beautiful granddaughters, Kaylee Borrel, Lucy and Josie Dossett; and his sister, Judith Monette. He is also remembered by his ex-wife and long-time friend, Lori Dossett, and her daughter, Londyn McCoy Fontaine, whom he considered like his own daughter. Jimmy was preceded in death by his beloved parents, James and Marilyn Dossett.
