Eric Bisong
Your Light Lives On
Eric Bisong, popularly known as Emeka Homeboy, was born on January 1st, 1976, at the General Hospital in Mbanga. From an early age, he was known for his joyful spirit, warm personality, and natural ability to connect with people. He grew up with a deep love for soccer, movies, and music — interests that remained part of his life and conversations over the years.
Eric was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, a caring brother, and a loyal friend. He was widely admired for his kind heart, generosity, and welcoming nature. He had a special gift for bringing people together and making others feel comfortable and valued. His sociable and cheerful presence made him easy to like and impossible to forget.
He was the very definition of a hardworking and determined man — largely self-made — who believed in perseverance, responsibility, and providing for his family. Through dedication and discipline, he built his life step by step and served as an example of resilience and commitment to those around him.
More than twenty years ago, Eric relocated to Spain in search of greater opportunities and a better future for his family. He settled in the town of Bonares, where he worked diligently, built strong relationships, and became a respected member of his community.
Eric’s passing came suddenly following a brief illness, leaving family and friends deeply saddened. Though his departure was unexpected, the legacy of his character, kindness, and strength remains firmly rooted in the lives he touched.
He will always be remembered as someone who could light up a room with his presence — genuine, authentic, warm, and full of heart. He made a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Eric leaves behind his beloved wife, two children, and two grandchildren, along with many relatives, friends, and loved ones who will continue to cherish his memory.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered!
