Debra Hill, affectionately known as "Debbie," was a lifelong light in Birmingham, Alabama, whose life stood as a testament to unwavering strength and selfless service. A graduate of Hueytown High School, Debbie dedicated her professional journey to the noble work of caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, making a profound impact on the lives she touched. Her spirit of service further flourished as a cafeteria worker at Tabernacle Baptist Church and as a faithful member of Gadilee Baptist Church. For ten years, she walked a path of immense courage, facing her journey on dialysis with a fortitude that inspired all who knew her. Though she passed away on June 11, 1959, her remarkable legacy of compassion lives on through her mother, Patricia Jones, her daughter, Tasha Hill, and her granddaughter, Tanisha Hill.
