David's Graduated from Teaneck High School
Upon graduating from Teaneck High School in 1966, David Sklansky had already distinguished himself as a student with a remarkable aptitude for complex calculations. His time at the school solidified his interest in mathematics, leading him to briefly pursue higher education at the University of Pennsylvania before finding his true calling. This period of his life marked the transition from a gifted student to a young man capable of identifying inefficiencies in traditional systems, such as the actuarial field he briefly entered. The discipline he acquired during his secondary education in New Jersey provided the structural thinking necessary for his future success in the competitive world of professional poker.
