David Adam Williams, known to millions of fans as the YouTube personality "Adam the Woo" was found deceased at his home in Florida on December 22, 2025. He was 51 years old. Williams was a pioneer of the daily vlogging format, gaining a massive following for his "Daily Woo" series, which documented his travels to roadside attractions, filming locations, and theme parks across the United States.
Starting his channel in the early 2010s, Williams became a beloved figure in the Disney and travel vlogging communities. His content was defined by a genuine curiosity and a low-production, "punk rock" approach to documenting the disappearing pieces of Americana. He often explored abandoned sites, historical landmarks, and the behind-the-scenes magic of major tourist destinations, always maintaining an optimistic and appreciative tone.
Beyond his digital presence, Williams was a former musician and spent years touring in punk bands before finding his niche on YouTube. His transition to full-time content creation allowed him to live a nomadic lifestyle, which he shared transparently with his audience. He was widely respected for his dedication to his viewers, rarely missing a day of uploading for over a decade.
His sudden passing has resulted in an outpouring of tributes from fellow creators and fans who credit him with inspiring their own adventures. Authorities confirmed that he was found unresponsive following a welfare check, with no foul play suspected. He leaves behind a vast digital archive that serves as a unique time capsule of 21st-century American travel and culture.

My husband started watching Adam when he lived in California and would visit movie sets. Then, I started watching with him. Soon after, our family of 5 just couldn’t wait to see his next daily blog. It was so fun to come home at night, get on the couch and watch him. We are Floridians and big Rays fans too. He was so warm and friendly. We never had the opportunity to meet him in person but seeing and reading all the outpouring of love shows that he was the same guy in real life- truly genuine and kind. We are grateful Adam. Thank you for bringing us so much joy. We love you and will miss you terribly. To your family and close friends, we are thinking of you every day. We are praying for your strength. Our hearts are with you. He was a treasure.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Adam, he was such a amazing person, he brought so much joy and happiness to us , his videos was a part of my life everyday, iam still in disbelief , sad , lost, and angry, that he is no longer with us, I will never forget him, thank you adam for being the light when I was in my darkness times, may you rest in peace, my friend,
We started watching Adam during the pandemic (and ever since) for his daily adventures, travels, and commentary. There are other youtubers we began to watch, but Adam's channel was still the one we would check first each day. He was authentic and thoroughly entertaining. Deepest sympathy for him and family- the world has lost "one of the good guys" and will miss him.
R.I.P. Adam, You Were as they say, on top of the world right up to the very end. I was so excited to see your next installment of tomorrow's video but as we all know, it was never made.. I can only imagine about the many many videos that would have been created by you as the days go by. You entertained us with your kind heartfelt words & the many wonderful places that you brought us along through your exciting videos. I thank you from the bottom of my heart Adam for that. In closing, I will miss you with all of my now broken heart.. Although it will heal, it will always bear a scar with your name on it. David Adam Williams.
I never met Adam but felt like I knew him personally. I made a comment on his Siver Spurs Rodeo blog last year telling about my experiences competing there in the 70s and how different it was then. To my surprise he replied thanking me for sharing my memory. It felt very nice that he acknowledged me and knows a little something about me as I feel like I know so much about him. He was such a kind person and I will miss him desperately. Prayers for peace and comfort for his family. I know that they know we will all see him again.
Thank yu Adam for being unique yu. I leave condolences for his dear mother dear father and dear sister😢Your love in raising a wonderful son has not gone unnoticed. The love Adam showed us, for the love of his family shows what love truly is. A fine gentle…man, I never knew. Watching him on utube always gave a smile in a day in which I needed it. I’d never had the privilege of meeting Adam but like everyone who watched his videos on a regular basis, he felt like a familiar friend. My thoughts and prayers are with his beautiful family and close friends during this very sad and unexpected time. My favorite Woo videos are the trips he took with his family, may you find comfort in the precious moments you were able to spend together. Sending much love.

I met Adam, twice, and both times, he was friendly, and genuine, and made my heart smile. His vlogs, helped me get through some really tough times, and he had a way of making others, feel like, we were truly with him, on his adventures. I can’t even put into words, how special he was. What an amazing man, his loving parents raised. He’s a legend, and a friend to us all. I will miss our Adam, forever, and will always love him.
