Daniel Paul Kershaw
Daniel Paul Kershaw, beloved husband, father, grandpa, and friend, peacefully passed away in his home with his loving wife, Marina, by his side on January 10, 2026. His passing has come far too soon after a courageous battle with brain cancer that began in June 2025. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Marina; his five children, Michelle, Chelsea, Samantha, Dani, and Derek; his sixteen cherished grandchildren, Molly, Alex, Benjamin, Peyton, Samuel, Briggs, Wyatt, Gibson, Nelle, Tyson, Kyla, Dylan, Parker, Charlotte, Annabelle, and Zoe; and his siblings, Suzanne, Alan, Jennifer, and Tizi, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory. He is preceded in death by his parents, Naomi and Henry Kershaw, and his oldest brother, Samuel.
Dan was born on January 6, 1957, and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, with his mother, father, and five siblings. He loved spending time with his family and cherished his childhood memories. He attended Arcadia High School, where he played basketball and cultivated lifelong friendships. Dan was known for his energy, charisma, quick wit, and larger-than-life personality. Even at a young age, Dan was the life of the party—someone people were naturally drawn to.
Following high school, Dan pursued higher education where he met his first wife LaVona(mother of his children). He went on to become a chiropractor, a profession to which he dedicated his life. After graduating college, he worked alongside his father at Kershaw Chiropractic Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, continuing a family legacy of care and service. In 2004, Dan relocated to Italy, where he continued practicing chiropractic care while remaining connected to his work and roots in Arizona.
While living in Brescia, Dan developed a deep love of travel and new experiences. He fully embraced the lifestyle, riding his bike to work each day and enjoying the adventures that came with life abroad. He loved life and the people in it. He was kind, loving, and thoughtful, with a sharp mind and generous heart. His life was meaningful, his presence unforgettable, and his absence deeply felt. His example will live on through us, in the way we love, serve and show up for one another.
