On Wednesday, March 11th, 2026, at 3:35pm, the world lost a one of a kind man, Carlo J Lucido, a man who had lived countless lives was finally called home to rest. He was a beloved father to six incredible children, (Michael [Kelly], Joseph [Bonnie], Jessica, Mckayla [Jacob], Dominick, and Ava), he was a friend to many, and a husband to few (Erin, Tracy). He lived a full life, leading with love, generosity, an unapologetic authenticity, and a great head of hair. He loved his children fiercely and adored his granddaughters (Akaysia, Violet, and Elora). Carlo was an incredible cook, an accomplished gardener, a hilarious story teller, the life of the party, and so very much more. He was unabashedly himself, he loved watching sports and cartoons, and betting on horses, Carlo fought through countless battles in his life and he always saw himself in the underdogs, he fought hard for the big wins, and he won, again, and again, never fretting the losses. He passed away at UK Chandler hospital while being cared for by an amazing medical team, he was surrounded by his six loving children, in laws, his devoted girlfriend Kim, his ex-wives, and Dave. Carlo created a beautiful family that overfilled hospital waiting rooms, poured out of consultation suites, and bursted at the seams of ICU corridors, he passed surrounded by more love than anyone else in that hospital. He is survived by his children, his loving mother Geraldine Lucido, his siblings Dino and Joseph Lucido, and Marie Fratta. He was preceded in death by his father Carlo Sr, and his brother Robert. Carlo will be greatly missed by his family and anyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. A celebration of life will take place this fall in New York, details to come. In lieu of flowers, have a day at the track and take a chance on a long shot in our father's honor, it’s what he would want. We love you Pop.
