Brenda Kathleen White, known affectionately to those who loved her as "Aunt Kitty," departed this life on April 23, 2026, in Alexandria, Virginia. Born on September 8, 1957, Brenda was a woman whose vibrant spirit and boundless compassion touched everyone she met.

As the last surviving member of her immediate family, Brenda served as a cherished heart for a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was a person truly full of life, moving through the world with a helping hand and an open heart. To Aunt Kitty, there was no such thing as a stranger; she spent her days finding the quiet beauty and joy in all walks of life. Her presence was a gift, and her absence leaves a profound void.

Private funeral services and interment have been held. In honor of Brenda’s memory, the family tenderly asks that, instead of flowers, donations be made to any Suicide Awareness and Prevention fund. As they navigate the deep sorrow of such a great loss, the family also requests privacy during this time to heal and remember a life so dearly loved.
