We didn’t get the chance to really know you the way we wish we could have, Great Grandma, but we know you were someone very special. We’ve heard so many stories about your life, your strength, your kindness, and the love you had for your family. Even though we’re still little, we can feel how much you meant to everyone.
We spoke with you on the phone few weeks before you passed asking us when we were coming to greet you...We didn’t understand it fully then, but looking back, we’re grateful we got to hear your voice. We didn’t get the chance to really know you the way we wish we could have, Great Grandma, but we know you were someone very special. We’ve heard so many stories about your life, your strength, your kindness, and the love you had for your family. Even though we’re still little, we can feel how much you meant to everyone.
We may have only spoken to on the phone, but that moment means so much to us now, even just for a little while. That was our moment with you, and we will always hold onto it.
We are told that we are your only two great-grandchildren, and that makes us feel proud and connected to you in a special way. Even though you’re no longer here, we know that we carry a part of you with us—through our family, through the stories, and through the love that continues to surround us.
We wish we had more time with you. We wish we could have sat with you, laughed with you, and learned from you. But even without those moments, we promise to grow up remembering that we came from someone strong, loving, and important.
We hope you’re resting peacefully, Great Grandma. Thank you for being part of our story, even in a small but meaningful way. We will always remember you.
