Surrounded by the unwavering, boundless love of her devoted family, Barbara found solace after a courageous and long battle with cirrhosis.
Born on April 2, 1960, in Omaha, Nebraska, Barbara's very essence, her heart's truest joy, was her beloved family. Every gathering, every shared moment, was a precious jewel she held dear, etching itself into her soul. Her spirit truly soared amidst the sweet laughter and the cherished presence of her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, filling her heart with an immeasurable, radiant happiness.
Barbara's loving spirit continues to shine brightly, a guiding light through her devoted husband, Tom Sailors, also of Wymore, Nebraska. She leaves behind a beautiful, enduring legacy of love in her sons and their partners: Rodney and Marissa, Aaron, Chuck, Dennis and Mckayla, Tommy and Brittany; and her daughter, Christina and Jeremy. Her heart overflowed with boundless affection for her 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, each one a testament to her profound and unconditional love. Barbara is also lovingly remembered by her dear brother, John Burr of Omaha, and her sister, Cindy of Ames, Iowa.
Among her most cherished pastimes, Barbara adored going to the movies and sharing delightful meals out with the love of her life, Thomas Sailors. Her dedication to her family was unwavering, she worked tirelessly and lovingly, providing for them in every way her heart could imagine. She found pure delight in playing games and drawing, often smiling at one of her favorite characters Stitch, Her love shone brightest during Christmas, as she always made sure every heart received a thoughtful gift and a cherished, big bucket of different cookies she made for everyone to take home and enjoy. In the summertime, the Fourth of July brought her immense joy as she watched the fireworks with her family and reveled in the sight of all her beloved grandchildren running around her yard.
Barbara is now reunited in spirit, embracing once more her dear parents, Bella and Charles Burr of Omaha, Nebraska, her brother, Charles Burr of Omaha, Nebraska, and her sister, Grace Thies.
Barbara's warmth, her boundless love, and her comforting presence will be profoundly missed, leaving an irreplaceable space in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Barbara is truly loved and missed . But there is one thing she wants you to know is that she loves you more.
A service to celebrate her beautiful life and the enduring love she so freely shared will be held on April 11 at the Church of Christ 618 west M ST wymore Nebraska 68466 starting at 1 pm to 4, with a dinner held afterwards, where we can share memories and comfort one another.
