Amethyst Buckley
In Loving Memory of Amethyst Buckley
With hearts broken yet filled with love, we remember and celebrate the beautiful life of Amethyst Buckley, who passed away on January 31, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas, at just 7 years old.
Born on May 12, 2018, in Fort Worth, Amethyst was a radiant light to everyone who knew her. She had a joyful spirit, a contagious laugh, and a smile that could brighten any room. Her curiosity for the world was extraordinary for someone so young.
Amethyst had a deep love for Moana and dreamed of exploring cultures and languages. She had an incredible gift for learning and was most recently teaching herself to speak Korean, showing a level of dedication and intelligence far beyond her years. She proudly held the highest grades in her entire school and found great joy in playing chess, where her sharp mind and focus truly shined.
Above all, Amethyst was a loving, kind, and beautiful soul who touched countless lives in her short time on this earth. Her laughter, her brilliance, and her loving heart will forever live on in the memories of those who were blessed to know her.
Amethyst passed away after a tragic accident in which she was struck by a vehicle. Though her time with us was far too short, the love she gave and the joy she brought will never be forgotten.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Amethyst’s life will be held:
Greenwood Funeral Home
Sunday, February 8, 2026
Service begins at 11:30 a.m.

Though heaven has gained a beautiful angel, those who love her will carry Amethyst in their hearts forever — in every laugh, every act of kindness, and every dream of a brighter tomorrow.
The loved ones of Amethyst Buckley welcome any tribute you wish to share in their memory.
