Robin Louise Rabideau Banker, 72, of Sun Valley, NV, passed away on April 5, 2026. She was born on June 10, 1953, in Torrance, CA to Robert Rabideau and Carol Morehouse.

Robin dedicated more than 25 years of her life to teaching, and her students were truly her passion. She cared deeply for the children she taught and poured her heart into making sure they felt seen, encouraged, and supported. Teaching was never just a job to her — it was part of who she was.

No matter what was going on in her own life, Robin always made time for the people she cared about. Her family and friends knew they could count on her for comfort, honesty, and love.

She found joy in the things she loved most: quilting, reading, journaling, gardening, traveling, and cruising with family and friends. She loved spending afternoons watching Reno Aces games, trying her luck at the casino, and spoiling her beloved dogs. More than anything, though, she loved her family — especially her grandchildren, who brought endless pride and happiness to her life.

Robin is survived by her husband of 42 years, Paul Banker; her children, Basha Stankovich, Anna Coffen, Sarah MacLennan, and Sam Banker; several beloved grandchildren; her sisters, Cynthia Rabideau, Jacquelyn Day, and Michele Creasey; and her brother, Scott Rabideau.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Rabideau and Carol Morehouse.

Robin will be remembered for her strength, her compassion, and the love she gave so freely to the people around her. Her family will miss her deeply, but they carry her memory with them in every story shared, every garden tended, every baseball game watched, and every quilt stitched with care. Anyone who knew Robin also knew that a little dog fur was simply part of life in her home — and somehow, she never would have wanted it any other way.
